The Coronavirus pandemic has caused many questions to be raised in relation to the role of air conditioning, as well as its safety. By law – employers must ensure an adequate supply of fresh air in the workplace is provided, and this has not changed. The risk of air conditioning spreading coronavirus (COVID-19) is extremely low – as long as the supply of fresh air and ventilation is adequate.
Following advice from the HSE (Health and Safety Executive), you can rest assured that you can continue using most types of air conditioning systems as normal – however there are some exceptions or adaptations with others.
We want to help your workplace continue to run smoothly and safely during the pandemic, and we are known for planning our maintenance schedules to ensure the end users benefit from the equipment working to their maximum potential at critical times. We like to work with you, to help create solutions that suit your exact requirements. All our engineers have Enhanced DBS checks carried out as standard.
