Throughout the UK, buildings are starting to become re-occupied with staff, customers, visitors, and more thanks to the gradual, slow ease of lockdown restrictions.

Here at Industrial Refrigeration Services, we are doing everything we possibly can to help ensure your workplace complies with relevant legislation in a post-lockdown world.

We know you will be wanting to hit the ground running when the world re-opens, and you will have lots of tasks and activities to be concentrating on – therefore, our brand-new Technical Compliance Manager, Sam Parsons, will be the perfect point of contact for many of our contracted clients.

Sam is on-hand to provide advice and confirm operation of your existing layout and inform as to whether it is compliant with relevant legislation. For older buildings, we can survey the existing operation and perform commissioning checks and schematic layouts of the plant for assurance.

You can read more about Sam’s role in our news article here.

Further to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, IRS have produced a formal report providing advice and guidance in-line with the most recent update of the REHVA Covid-19 Guidance. This report provides building operators with sufficient information in order to understand how to safely continue to use HVAC equipment, however, we would be more than happy to discuss with you in greater detail should you require – either on the phone, on-site, or via Teams.

PPM Compliance

IRS will continue to provide our PPM services directly in-line with SFG20 requirements and our existing contract agreements as prior to Covid-19, however, we will take additional steps as recommended within the REHVA guidance. You can read more about PPM compliance in our useful document here.
