The purchase of eight brand new low CO2 emission commercial fleet vehicles with smooth and highly economical engines demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and protecting the environment.
The team at IRS are proud to unveil their new fleet of commercial vehicles which are not only have a fresh new look with updated livery, but are more environmental friendly and efficient. This is great news for IRS who were awarded ISO 14001 for Environmental Management System and advocate the use of green technology and smarter energy use.
Mark Parsons, Managing Director at IRS explains, “The team and I are very excited about the purchase of these new, lower CO2 emission vans. As a company focused on reducing CO2 emissions and taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint, it was important for us to evaluate where we could make improvements to protect the environment”. He adds, “Calculations were made using average MPG figures to assess the CO2 emissions from our vehicles. We were astonished to learn the full environmental impact of the vans. As part of our corporate responsibility in protecting the environment, we decided to replace the engineer vehicles with new models. The vehicle livery adds that special touch, further promoting our brand and highlighting our professional image as cooling specialists.”
Bromsgrove based IRS were keen to support other local businesses in the area and sought the expertise of Signs Express and Fast Fit Nationwide to add commercial stickers and racking to the new fleet of vehicles.
