Do you remember your first mobile phone? The big, chunky box we carried around? Here at IRS, we have had a huge blast from the past – back to 1990 to be exact, when Industrial Refrigeration Services first began.
We found our director Mark’s first mobile phone which weighs a whopping 4.5kgs! To put that into perspective, the modern mobile phone weighs around 0.11kgs on average. Although we have seen mobile design getting bigger as the years go on, we can’t imagine the brick will return soon. Check out what it looks like!
It looks like we had a very different logo back then too (although we expect this was just as trendy as our new one!). And we doubt there was a fantastic website full of sound advice and information…
