The Graeme Hick Pavilion is one of our largest and most popular hospitality spaces. It overlooks the pitch and has a glass windowed wall to show the best view of the pitch and Cathedral. However, as it is mostly glass on one side, in the summer, we have issues with it being too hot in the conference room. Therefore, we decided to install air conditioning in the conference room and our players gym. We have worked with IRS before for previous air conditioning services and refrigeration works. I got in touch with our Key Account Manager with IRS who is absolutely fantastic. Between measuring for the quote and commissioning the air conditioning, IRS have been nothing but helpful and flexible to work around our events. Equally, the engineers have also been brilliant, flexible, friendly and have cleaned up after themselves as they have been doing the work. I could not recommend IRS enough and we have already booked in for some additional work with them. Not only will the air conditioning help with the summer heat, but it also allows us to be more sustainable as a club by moving away from gas central heating to using the air condition units for heating as well as cooling.

We approached IRS to work with us developing a more proactive approach to the service contract, IRS responded well in developing a much improved service contract that focussed on preventing failures rather than managing them, the contract cost initially increased to support the service time needed to maintain the equipment, parts were replaced periodically instead of reactively, we also introduced a monthly review meeting to improve communications & service support & track open queries on both sides.
