As a business Action HR has provided its services to IRS for eight years to date but I quickly found out the benefits of their services myself and began with one A/C unit over six years ago. Since then, I’ve added to that with my last installation taking place just before a cold Christmas in 2024. The heat output from the units is just as powerful as the cold air in the summer which is brilliant, and I believe saves money. I am now the proud owner of five A/C units (all of which IRS have installed and service for me) which I find efficient and cost-effective. All thanks to IRS. Their service is impeccable, beginning with the inspection through to installation. They leave everything clean and tidy, and their engineers are polite, friendly and experienced. I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of IRS to any individual or business who want the benefits of A/C units. They have to be the best in my opinion.
Premier Foods Carlton have been working closely with IRS for the last 5 years, traditionally the service support contract had been set up to offer reactive support, which was around completing very basic checks, report defects & offer call out service to support the site when needed. We also had little communication between organisations to develop the customer / support relationship. Following a period of analysis of our total cost of ownership including the service contract which included banked engineer days, repair costs & downtime across the site, we concluded that a more proactive approach to servicing our HVAC equipment was needed. We approached IRS to work with us developing a more proactive approach to the service contract, IRS responded well in developing a much improved service contract that focussed on preventing failures rather than managing them, the contract cost initially increased to support the service time needed to maintain the equipment, parts were replaced periodically instead of reactively, we also introduced a monthly review meeting to improve communications & service support & track open queries on both sides. Our services & relationship is now in a much better position, we are well planned & have great equipment reliability, our call outs have dropped to almost nothing as a direct result of service contract development. Both IRS & Premier Foods continue to explore ways to further improve our equipment performance through a strong partnership focussed on equipment reliability.

Towards the end of last year we approached them to carry out some compliance works, which include our statutory TM 44 Inspections. IRS managed the whole process to ensure the process required minimum input from our team. The reporting was detailed and some of the recommendations from the report has proved very useful.
